A few years ago we were in the harbor outside Timra located a bit outside Sundsvall, Sweden. We picked the stones and pieces of wood which we thought was fine. Everything ended up in a bag the other day, I decided to open up and put in a box. When I poured over them dropped a small coin out. I think it was hidden in a piece of wood or stone that has broken down over the years. I was curious and looked closely at their appearance. First thought it was a charm or something but seeing that it is very well made. The coin is small with printing on both sides. It looks like there are two parts, front and rear, which has been put together. Feels heavy despite its small size and are in very good condition. I have no idea what it could be for coins but found a picture of a coin that says Ireland, Sigtrygg Silke Beard where appearance does good. Would be nice to know if it's a real coin and its value. Is interest in this? Fun if anyone knows anything about the coin. In the belief that it originates from about the year 1000, it is a nice feeling to hold it. But I may be wrong.
