New Queen's Effigy Coins

Recommended Posts

Picked up a one pence and twopence coin today in change, both with the new Queen's effigy. Anybody seen any other denominations out yet?

Aren't all the 2015 coins bearing the new effigy, I'm definitely missing out if both effigies are on the 2015 coins? I haven't actually checked the busts, but have been salting away any and all new 2015 coins in collectable condition, as I did for 2014 and 2013! A fractionally more sensible loose change "pot" akin to the one everybody else has stored in a bells whiskey bottles! :)

1p 2p 5p 10p 20p for me so far.

No 5p for me yet but a million 2014s! Maybe 2015 5ps will be the rare ones, in view of the 2014 glut? :);)

I have both heads in 1p,2p,5p and 20p haven't found a 10p yet for the new effigy, although I have all the 2015 4th head upto £1, like Coinery, all in nice collectable condition too.

Has anyone else noticed lines on the Obverse field on the new 20p as all 6 examples I have found so far all have them.

I don't know if all denominations will be issed with either the old of new effigy. However, there are definitely 1p. 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p and £1 out with the old effigy. Haven't seen a 50p with the old on yet though.
