Did anyone else attend coinex this year ?

I must say i was rather disappointed, i attended on Friday and found nothing to buy.

Seems to be a common theme at the moment! Wondering if new collectors/investors have entered the market at the higher end ...

Hmm, maybe a couple - as in a couple. I think despite all the higher prices we pay for better bits, that the market is shrinking. Still there is a bit of excitement in the air on occasion with these things...

Coinex 2016 is in two weeks' time.

For a new collector looking for affordable, common coins in good state, and a bit of chat with other collectors and dealers, is this the place to go or should I rather go to one of the monthly Birmingham fairs?

I have never been Leo.

But think with costs to get in parking and more high end ,you might be better at Birmingham .

Again i have not been but think its more the expensive range rather than the common ones and dealers get busy in the morning on the first day,so maybe not got the same amount of time to chat.

well worth the visit to buy sell or just enjoy your hobby. Lots of dealers with various levels of stock.

Early bird tickets are £30 but its only £5 entry after 1pm
