Selling my collection

Recommended Posts

Guest Peter

Finding this site has triggered an interest in coin collecting (thanks guys) that has been dormant for about 20 years. Somewhere I have my old collection & I have been thinking about selling them. They are really not worth much 'cos it is only a miscellaneous box full of things that I collected as a teenager, things like Victorian crowns, double florins, George V halfcrowns and florins, a cartwheel penny etc all in only fine condition ( some even cleaned!!!) for the most part.

My question is: What would be the best way to dispose of this?

I have not seen it for a long time 'cos it is stored in a basement somewhere but I could dig it out and make a list if you think that it is worthwhile me doing so.

I hope one day to collect high quality stuff (William III, maybe !) so what I have is redundant.

Selling what I have may even enable me to make a start and buy my first decent coin!

Please advise.

Depending on the price I may be interested in what you have there.

Send me a PM with the info of what you have and how much yu want for it, and we'll take it from there.
