Stewie asked me to post this as he cannot get on here

 

 

Tried posting this in 'new forum' on a number of occasions...if you are able to get on there I'd appreciate it if you could post for me! ?

OK, SO different, I think I might just back-seat this one until you 20+ year-olds bash it out between you!

Oh, and for anyone unable to get on ( though you won't see this, of course), don't use your old shortcuts to get here! This is why I've taken so long to show up. I've been using desktop links...they don't work anymore!

I signed in from the right hand side 3 stripes but after signing in it says the same thing, after playing around I found that navigating to a topic it works (I've told Stewie)  but it can be. Confusing

Interesting. My old short cut does still work OK.

I wonder if the new set up is incompatible with the operating system on Stewie's browser. That's always a possibility.

Normally, these new set ups have backwards compatibility, but maybe this one hasn't. 

It migt be as simple as converting from say, Internet Explorer to Chrome. I had to do that to continue accessing one site a year or two back.

I am using my old bookmark. Finds it ok.

Stewie is using his iphone, i see the exact Same thing As he does but i've explained too him to just sign in on the right and navigate from the left Hand side menu, but the problem obviously exists.

 

i also use an app called ipboard which you can list multiple forums and click on which you want, this currently doesn't work with this forum

Have you tried accessing from a different device? - just a thought.

weird thing is, I remained signed-in for the entire period, yet couldn't access the forum?

who knows? Anyway, all's well that ends well!
