I think this is a copper/brass wrist or ankle "bangle" as its construction looks to me to be too flimsy for it to be

for keys or horse harness, no idea on age

Pressure seal washer from an engine, probably oil filling hole.

I'm not sure I'd attempt a positive id on either of the last two objects from the pics, really not enough evidence as to function; in fact I don't think either would have got beyond my scrap metal bucket (surprising how much I get from the scrappie every few years). Here are a couple of my Roman Fibulae over the last couple of years.

If it wasn't said that it was wrist or ankle size I'd have gone for brass curtain ring.

I believe this is a fake silver or gold ring it seems to be made of brass but has the word [SOLID] impressed/stamped

into it which I think is to fool any one trying to buy into thinking it is real silver/gold probably post medieval in date

Your 'hit rate' seems amazing to me George3, are you posting these as you discover them?

Also amazed at how you seem to be able to identify them, are you sure this isn't an ancient Aztec fire alarm? :D

No these are all finds I've had since I started about 2 years ago I use a good finds web site with a huge data base and look each find up till I find what

they are or similar matching object, could of been a nipple guard :)

How big is it George? Try using a ruler or coin in the photo to give an idea of scale. First impression is that its a bit too small for a terret, they are usually a couple of inches in diameter, and it looks like it was held on to something fairly thin like leather.

I'm sure it was "rivited" to leather and the loop is about the size of a modern 1p
