Charles the six pence

I'm not an expert on Charles I sixpences by any means but your coin looks genuine from the photo. The mintmark is an anchor which probably dates it around 1639 and minted at the Tower Mint.

Rob knows a lot more about this period than me so hopefully he can confirm if I have got it right or wrong.

Yes, nothing wrong with that apart from the hole. Struck sometime between 9th May 1638 and 4th July 1639
