I do miss the £1 note, something quite satisfying in having a wad of notes to play with.

That's a really unusual example, Pete. Bet its premium is enhanced quite a bit because of that feature.

I once thought I was on the verge of getting a unique £10 note. Had drawn some money out of the cashpoint, and noticed the serial No KK555553 as the top note. I hurriedly re-inserted my card to get another £20, but unfortunately it was going backwards, so ended up with 52 and 51 instead of 54 and 55 - damnit.

Such opportunities don't come around very often.

Nice error note and I don't remember seeing one with inverted numbers before.

I don't collect notes and have just brought one a long time ago to frame up.

Look forward to seeing more of your notes :)

I think most coin collectors have at least some interest in other forms of money!

I've put mileage in on 10/- and £1 notes....I had to knock the completest out of me as I was starting to spend a bit on replacement notes.I haven't bought a note for about 10 years although spent many!
