I've just been surfin' the site, and thought it would be good to revive this post for the forthcoming season's greetings, and christmas banter, whilst I remember to do so!

It appears to be the first ever Pre-decimal Christmas thread, from what I can make out!

It's interesting to find Peter there, gourmet as usual!

As he is our society secretary I can confirm that Geoff's alive and well. He is just tied up with work most of the time.

With mother and other family coming around I have been tidying under strict supervision.

Wrapping to do,...final shop and pick up the capon tomorrow.....plus Santa's bottle of malt

The MG also needs a polish because I intend to go on a Xmas morning spin around the country lanes....pre malt.
