Merry Christmas to all, it's been a wonderful year what with CC and the new members. I can only hope next year is as good, if not better!

Thanks everyone for making this the biggest British coin forum in the world (as far as I can see!).

Have nice Christmas's and if I don't see you, all the best for 2005 and I'll speak to you then.

What happened? I went out on Christmas Eve to buy some milk and came back with a 1905 half sovereign!

Hope you all had a good Christmas and will have a great New Year.

Anyone going to the York Coin Fair? 14-15 January.

Geoff

Hi Geoff - I'll be there (table no 5 I think - in any case, top of the stairs and turn right!)

Look forward to seeing you there. Anyone else coming along?

Cheers

Andy

PS Happy New Year everyone! :D

Are there any Ancients there? (and I don't mean the dealers!)

Very Best to everyone, hope you all have a prosperous and enjoyable year!

Great - I've seen you loads of times at Wakefield so I'll look out for you.

Funny thing about a forum like this is that we may have met each other but not realised it.

Have a great New Year.

Geoff

Excellent! You'll have to pop by and introduce yourself properly! No doubt we've already spoken at Wakefield but it's just one of those things.....

Happy New Year everyone! :)

I've just been surfin' the site, and thought it would be good to revive this post for the forthcoming season's greetings, and christmas banter, whilst I remember to do so!

It appears to be the first ever Pre-decimal Christmas thread, from what I can make out!

It's interesting to find Peter there, gourmet as usual! ;)

So, anyway, Mer....

Maybe not yet! :D

Cor, 9 years ago. Back in the days when I was pretty much talking to myself most of the time! Master JMD with his whole collection listed in his profile, bless him.

I think a lot of the younger members found girls. :)

What happened to Geoff T? I think Andy Bruce changed direction away from coins.

There are still a few old members about B) They know who they are.

Going on the forum over Xmas is a welcome break.

As he is our society secretary I can confirm that Geoff's alive and well. He is just tied up with work most of the time.

Surprisingly quiet. Everyone preparing for the days ahead, I guess, but still two working days left!

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all. Good luck filling those gaps (as long as they're not the same coins I'm chasing :D )

With mother and other family coming around I have been tidying under strict supervision.

Wrapping to do,...final shop and pick up the capon tomorrow.....plus Santa's bottle of malt :o

The MG also needs a polish because I intend to go on a Xmas morning spin around the country lanes....pre malt. :)

Everyone have a great holiday.....I will be about :)

Yeah, have a great one everybody. I'm off to work in an hour and a bit so likely won't be back on until Boxing Day ... unless I take the laptop to MILs ...

So if anyone receives any hammered Stuart coinage for Christmas, I shan't be available for consultation/ envious admiration until then! :P
