I was asked by the Beeb if I could let them have images of an 1890 Farthing and Penny. I had a wonderful farthing of my own, and borrowed a Penny picture from Colin Cooke (with permission!).

The stills will be used on Blue Peter, and I've asked for a Blue Peter badge in return!

I'll let you know exactly where and when they will be used.

The jazzy gold ones are apparently for massive things, like life saving and the like.

They don't give those badges away willy nilly you know! Not that I'd be able to use one, as you have to be under 16 for free entry into place, and accompanied by a paying adult.

Unfortunately they don't do Blau Peter in Gemany!

In fact, the only English speaking channel (half English) was turned off on December 31st! Now I have to get a Satalite dish to pick up anything English.
