real or fake?

Hi everyone, go steady on me as this is my first post.

I have just bought a shieldback 1884 half sovereign. However, a couple of things concern me. It shows Victoria wearing a necklace and earings. I can not find another Image on the web that is identical, should I be worried?

It is not a genuine British half sovereign.  I don't know whether there are any 'colonial' type coins that look similar, but I'd guess that it's a crude fake.

You certainly jumped in at the deepend with that one. Looks like its came off a charm bracelet and not intended to dupe anyone. Ask for a refund.
