I get it to Mussolini and 1928, but I cant find anything about such a coin!?

What about the other side of the coin/medal?

Could it be form an ocupied country? Like Albania and so on...

Doesn't show up in Krause at all. Looked at Albania, Eritrea, Somalia. Nothing. Not a single coin listed with images of Mussolini under Italy, not even in the patterns and trial strikes listings.

Did some goggling, and it appears that this piece is a fantasy piece. Here is what I found out:

although dated 1928, was minted in 1943

design based on 1928 issue, only official issue that has Vittorio Emanuele III wearing a helmet

I found a similar piece on eBay, but dated 1943.

Also found mention of a 10 lire piece, dated 1918, similar (Mussolini on obverse, reverse has the same design as the official 1923 10 lire), also determined to be minted in 1943.

While Im at it... does the book you have say anything about the danish 1-crowns between 1942-47...

If I get one of my sources right, they where made in two variants; one in nickel and one in aluminium-bronze!? Or have I mixed it all up?

It only lists the 1942-47 as being aluminum-bronze. 1947 was a transition year, and there was both the old type (with the crossed wheat stalks) and the new type (with the crowned shield), the old style is more common, but neither are rare.

Yes, it's correct!

Mussolini didn't appear in any coin, couse for the italian low only the king, as Head of State, could appear on coins and banknotes, and Mussolini officially was "only" Head of Governament.

This is a "medal" struck firstly in 1943 and then for many years later (until the '60s more or less) for "nostalgic" people......

And is also very common and don't have a numismatic value.

The "original one" is a 1928 commemorative silver 20 liras and its value, in UNC condition is about 1.800 euros, more or less 1.200 pounds!

Your picture is of an original 1923 coin in nickel. The WW2 coin is in zinc and would be dark grey.

As Mark correctly stated, it is an original 1923 issue in nickel. The zinc ones would be dark grey, almost black, just like the photo of the 20 groszy I sent you. I had a 10 groszy, but it has some ugly white oxidation spots on it, and did not scan well.
