Happy birthday Kuhli :D

Geoff

Thank you!! I had a good day, as good as can be expected after working 11½ hours. BTW, I did finally get to the post office earlier this week, and there is a large GPM envelope headed your way. Sorry for the delays.

...I'll let you have a virtual Predecimal.com voucher!

Great. I have had my eye on a coin in your inventory, just putting off getting it. Nothing special, not even a normal coin for you to be selling.

What is it?

It's the 1996 crown £5 for the Golden Wedding of QEII.

Actually, I was planning to 'revitalise' that one in todays newsletter. There is a little bit of fluff that got caught under the plastic when it was made, and it's caused a tone spot on the rev. I've mentioned that in the newsletter.

If you still want it Kuhli, I'll send it to you.

Chris,

Yes, I am interested. Let me know, and we can work something out. Looking at the newsletter, I just realized that you had the wrong photograph on your website, as the photo was of a 1997 crown, not the 1996 (which is the Queens' 70th Birthday issue)

Also, *IF* the 1997 crown (the Wedding Jubilee crown) doesn't sell next weekend at the LCF, let me know, and I will buy it, too. I am working some extra hours, and should have some spare change, provided the wife and teen-age daughter don't spend it all before I see it.

I have a couple of €5 notes, that I somehow picked up in transactions over the last year or so, so maybe I can send them to you as part of my payment. They aren't doing me any good sitting here, and would be like free money to use for coins. :D
