We used to go into town every lunch time from about the age of 13 onwards. We really were not supposed to, but there were ample gaps in the fences to allow us to sneak in and out un-noticed. Ah, those were the days. Jumpers for goalposts.

That makes me giggle.

We used to sneek out and the eldest looking used to place a bet at the bookies.(He is now a Corals manager :D and his dad was a copper !!!!!)

We actually started winning so lunch was Cod n Chips (no McDonalds then) but after a few weeks we were down to a bag of chips between the lot of us. :(
