coin or forgery?

hi...for many years at the bottom of my jewellery box lives a coin with young victoria's head on one side with the words on the rim 'victoria regina', on the other side there is a rider carrying a sword in uniform jumping over a two headed dragon...the date is 1837...can anyone throw any light on it for me please
