Dead-Beat Ebay Bidders

Recommended Posts

Guest Cool Phil

Hi all,

Four out of my six recently closed auctions have not been paid for,

leading me to suspect i am being plagued with deadbeat bidders, including:

* A 1997 Gold Coin, which despite closing ten days ago i have had not

any response from the winner (the winner by the way has 132 feedback -

more than myself)

http://tinyurl.com/anefc

* A Panda Coin, won by a 0 rated bidder on Thursday who also opened the

account on the same day (no contact from yet)

http://tinyurl.com/7kwvg

* Another Panda Coin, won by a 22 rated bidder last thursday (also no

contact from)

Can i ask what the hell is wrong with bidders these days? Not only do

they waste my assorted listing fees (50p a time for some items), but my

time as well, as i have to then relist the items.

Rant over!

Hi Phil,

I have sometimes had problems with sending email directly to winning bidders (ISP problems...) so my next step was always to send them mesages through ebay, which usually get through.

Failing that, there is a non paying bidder process. After following the steps you end up with getting your final value fees back and the non paying bidder can be kicked off ebay. (This may have changed, I haven't used it for a long while)

If you still feel bad about it and they are still there you can add them to your blocked bidders list, and anyone they deal with if you like.

Keep cool! :)
