small collection for sale

All.

I have a small collection of coins that I would like to sell.

These are coins that I have had for quite a while but with my son's 18th birthday coming up I think that I will sacrifice these and maybe (hopefully) get back to collecting when my finances improve!

I fully understand that this is a rather uninspiring lot but here goes.

Crowns:

1 x 1887 EF nice tone

1 x 1889 EF

1 x 1935 VF (incuse lettering on edge)

1 x 1937 EF

1 x 1951 in original (slightly tatty) red box UNC

Double Florins:

1 x 1887 (arabic 1 in date) EF

1 x 1889 EF

Half Crowns:

2 x 1915 EF

1 x 1916 EF

1 x 1918 EF

1 x 1921 EF

Florin:

1 x 1887 UNC

Shilling:

1 x 1944 UNC

1 x set of 1953 coins (half crown to farthing) in a slighty damaged plastic wallet UNC

Also a few other items that maybe of less interest:

1 x 1970 Isle of Man crown (Manx Cat) EF

1 x 1973 St Helena 25p (300 years 1673 to 1973) UNC (crown sized and, I believe, 0.925 silver)

1 x 1977 Mauritus 25 rupees PROOF? ( again crown sized and silver)

1 x 1780 Maria Theresa Thaler (restrike) but a little corroded VF

Not being a professional, I can't promise that my grading is 100% accurate so it would be best if a potential buyer sees them first. Being hopeless with this yer modern technology I wont even attempt to get pictures onto this site.

Anyone interested?

Peter.

Peter,

Pack them up and send them to me, I'll return a cheque for 60% of how I price them up (or return them at my expense). Lists are a good start, pictures are time consuming. The easiest thing is to simply post them when there are not too many.

You can keep the stuff from Isle of Man downwards. I'll be in Kent next week, so you could send them there. email cp@predecimal.com for address details.

Thanks,
