hello, i have a- victoria in commemoration coin 1837-1897 exeptionly fine condition would anyone have any ideas on its value

This is likely to be a medal, not a coin. Since so many were produced for the Diamond Jubilee in 1897 we really need a more detailed description in terms of size, material and design before we can judge. A picture is the ideal solution; you can post one if you're a member.

I just bought a coin like that a few days ago and got it valued. A bronze coin is worth approx 30 GBP and a silver coin is worth approx 50 GBP.

You can't really say that for sure Nirguna, as there were lots of different companies producing commemorative medals, and even the official one was produced in different sizes.

Until Kezzar gives more details and preferably a picture to judge the grade it could be worth anywhere between about £1 - £50.
