Strange Lustre

Hi,

what do you think about this coin? Isn't "too" lustre?.... But I don't know well this kind of coins, so I ask you.....

All the farthings being offered by that seller are a bit dodgy if you ask me.

And they're in Bexleyheath, which is where I once lived (or near by at least). I had a girlfriend in Bexleyheath and I worked there too for a while. Didn't notice much of an Italian population when I was there :s

All of the coins being offered by this seller appear to be unnaturually lustrous. On the farthings he is selling he notes that "These coins are offered to you in 'Very Fine' Condition and still retain their original lustre". Perhaps he works for one of the US grading services?

More likely he has a good buffing machine and the photography can hide a multitude of sins.
