Hi, Dad has this coin, definatly Alexander scottish silver hammered, all the ones i have seen online have 4 stars...this one has two five pointed stars...can't find it any where...any info would be great. It is in good order, you can see most all of the markings.

What is the size of the coin, in cm or mm? This is an indication of the denomination. The four starred coins are the pennies, the two starred ones tend to be halfpennies.

Then I have to ask you, is it the size of the pre 1990 5P or the post 1990 5P?
