I recently inherited a set of victorian or george 5th coins. Unfortunately soon after we were burgled and the coins were taken along with all jewellery ect. We now need to give our insurers a valuation on the coins and have no idea.I was wondering if anyone could help us with this. The coins taken were- 1 thrupenny bit,1 sixpence,1shilling,1 florrin and 1 half crown. I am unsure wether they were victorian or george 5th. Also stolen were a 1977 silver jubilee coin in case and a 1986 £2 coin with thistle on back-dont know wether you could help with a value on those too

Claim it was a 1911 proof set in a red case, worth £500!

Relistically they were probably worth about 1% of that if they were average circulated coins of Victoria or George V.

If you don't know what they were, it's impossible to guess.
