Nice website Simon.. (Yours?)

Shame about the Google. It is amusing, but not terribly useful!

(I also tried Altavista's Babelfish but without any improvement on the Google results, so short of learning German......)

Hi

> Nice website Simon.. (Yours?)

Yes, I always wanted to write a useful german page about English coins.

Sorry about the trouble with google. I haven't found a better online translator and I guess there won't be a better one in any case.

I probably will translate the pages by myself, but that's a lot of work anyway and I don't speak english as good as I would/should.

From my point of view, the page of Tony Clayton is always worth a try if one is looking for more information about English coins.

Yes, there are other services (such as imtranslator.net) but I guess thye are there ot make money and usually only offer a limited free service on a sample basis.

Seems pretty good to me! Have you tried Chris to see if he has any ideas?

Though I don't know how recent his stuff is.

Chris is Chris Perkins, our 'host' (click on predecimal.com link at top right of the page) who is based in Germany.

Thanks, I'll probably ask him, but I don't know If he would be pleased to translate dozens and dozens of pages :D

Anyway, the website of Tony Clayton is quite ok, although he might ad a bit more pictures but it's difficult to maintain such a load of infos, though!
