coins silver dollar chinese taiwan

i bought a coin recently which is a silver dollar 1 ounce in weight and 37 mm . it is a chinese taiwan coin it as no date on it unless it is in chinese and i dont understand chinese so not sure . i have a book which is 30 years old and according to my book it is dated 1837-1845 but mintage is not shown . i an wondering wether you can give me some information on this as i am wondering wether it is rare aswell .the conditionof this coin is unc anbd according to my book the value then was in xf £200 thanks
