Total Newbie Need Help !

Hi Everyone

I am a total noob in regards to coins collection. My grandfather left me his old coin collection and i wanted some help in regards to finding out more about this coins. I took some pics of the coins which i have attached below. It will be nice if anyone can provide a bit more details in regards to the coins

The last one is Ottoman Empire (more than likely Turkey or Egypt).

The others are possibly from the Indian state. I have no resource for those.

Where your granddad was from, or had been may provide a clue.

For identification of Indian coins I can reccomend this site. An Indian doctor who's study6 of the States coinage is tremendous. He can be e-mailed, but as a practicing doctor, he may take a few weeks to reply. I have found him very helpful. :)

My granddad was originally from India. When he passed on this coins to me ( along with a big album about ancient history made up of old news paper cuttings from 1820 onwards ) he said that this coins were givin to him by his father who collected it over time.

It's hard to give a value on Indian coins as they were still hammering coins into the late 19th century, so they all look old! The last one I tried to get valued, I'd put at 13-14th century, turned out to be common and minted 1890! :o
