i have an edward 7 silver coin from 1902 with 'lusie' written on it...would anyone have any information on it please

much appriciated

I have an Edward VII Shilling with Bessie written on it, or at least I did have.

It was popular at the time for young chaps about town to have the names of sweethearts engraved on coins. In fact, they did a lot more with coins back then, they coloured them in, made them into all kinds of elaborate jewellery etc. Probably because they actually contained some precious metal.
