old penny

Hi all

I have a old penny here and I was wondering if it was worth any thing the date on it is 1863 and its a bit bent..Anyone any ideas.

If it's bent it's scrap bronze, unless it's some kind of rare type, which it probably isn't. There are a couple of penny people in here, no doubt one of them will notice this soon.

I'm not sure if there are varities of 1863 and my Freeman (book on the subject) is right at the other side of the room!
