sixpence in leather mint roll

Hi All

this is my first post in this forum but would love some knowledge on Sixpence in a leather mint roll that i have

I am new to collecting coins and mainly focused on Au coins but my mother has given me this mint roll to me

can anyone tell me more about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!and if there worth anything

Hi and welcome to the forum. :)

Is it one coin or are there a few coins? What is/are the date/s?

Also a picture or a scan would be helpfull, but I think you have to become a member before you are alowed to upload pictures. It is a great forum with a lot of knowledgeable members therefore worth joining plus its free to become a member.

I have applied to join the forum! but so far have had no response so am hanging in there !

the mint roll is full of six pence in a leather roll never been opened no idea of yr but will dig it out of its hidey hole soon and will post a pic of it when im a member

Probably not a good idea to open it, but other that that I don't know how you're going to find out the dates! In the 60's they came in canvass kind of bags, so it should be earlier....Although if they are Australian I don't know how they packed them.
