I don't know whether it's just me, but does anyone else find this seller's terminology a little...unsettling?

Unmolested (UM) is a new grading abbreviation, as announced by the RSPCC (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Coins) last week, do keep up Clive!

 Sorry, Paul. My bad!

On a related note, I read this about a lawsuit involving competition/anti-trust against eBay and TPGs hogging the market.

"Universal Grading Service (UGS) was a nascent New Jersey-based grading service decided to file an antitrust suit eBay, the American Numismatic Association, then ANA President Barry Stuppler, and PNG claiming that the rules are preventing them from competing in the market. Their claim was that coins in their holders were allegedly banned by eBay claiming that by using the study, eBay was in collusion with the ANA and PNG to prevent them from participating in the market, an alleged violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act."

Nowt so queer as folk. Reminds me of time when a local group targetting minors had operated in the Blackburn/Burnley area and the local TV canvassed views of the event. One elevenpence halfpenny interviewed commented that there was too much paedofiddlia going on. so on that basis, maybe the pair need introducing to each other.

I used to live 7 miles outside of Burnley, what a depressing area that is. I call it the Black hole of Calcutta, its a complete sh**hole but has a great R&B Festival

My Desktop is always ridiculously busy....

just now:

2 Explorer windows : coin photos folder and coin literature folder

Chrome with 11 open tabs:

- BBC Weather (so I can see if I can skive gardening this morning)

- Gmail inbox

- Twitter

- My website's backoffice

- Predecimal unread posts

- This conversation

- the interesting JNCoins 1860 penny conversation

- thesaleroom.com

- PayPal

- eBay

- and I'm keeping an eye on Kharkov in the Ukraine, because I'm not entirely one-dimensional!

2 Excel spreadsheets

Firefox with 4 open tabs

- my snipe engine

- my Watch List

- Ending Soonest

- Tony Clayton

(if you use two browsers, eBay doesn't notice that you're signed in as two IDs on the same computer, so I can be a seller on Chrome, and be logged in under my buying ID in FireFox)

2 test files in Notepad

- eBay blacklist

- some HTML I'm working on

Turbo Lister

Adobe Reader with Bramah in it.

and that's a fairly quiet start to the morning!

Sounds like me......

about 25 or so firefox windows open with multiple tabs in each...

sometimes ie too and/or chrome to access other accounts at the same time....

PS: You have a digital version of Bramah?..

I have the book but would like to find digital (pdf ?) copies of that and others... Where did you get it?

Home made replica from three penny bit and 5p. Poorer on reverse due to manufacturing process -

Does that mean if I take a hammer to my car I can call myself a car manufacturer?
