Wow! Hows that for last minute bidding! My €25 snipe didn't stand an earthly

If you bid 25 Euros it did not get through as I bid €22 and the next bid was €253!!!!

Mein Gott! For three distinctly sub-average buns?

Read again... RARE VARIETY

Good on you I have picked a few goodies (and Turkeys) upon instinct...that is the name of the game B)

I sold an inferior specimen for $195 a few months ago.... This specimen will replace an example that I currently have.... I will know for sure once it arrives......

I've picked a few nice examples on instinct(and a few Turkeys) fingers x for you.

I don't know how you can see a rare variety from those 3, i'm still fairly wet behind the ears, but i wouldn't have paid that amount for them. I like an OBV/REV i can see unfortunately, because those cost Geld

At the risk of stating the obvious, they are also missing most detail. Presumably there's 200 euros worth of haircut for a start. I can't get my head round this fascination (and money spent) on blocked dies and random dot flaws.

When I see a washer going for 23k it makes you wonder...I'm glad I don't hanker after buns

:D:D:D Your bidder id is hidden to anyone who has not had dealings with you. I have you saved as a prefered seller and although I dont see your name in the actual item bidding I can see your feedback score and check it against my prefered sellers list!

Really? The enlargements aren't exactly pin sharp, and the coins aren't in decent condition. What am I looking at?

No colon dots after F:D. Peck 1623a, Gouby 1860 Type T. Took me ages to realise though.

h***i's bid, with one second to spare, has to have been a previously laid snipe. He couldn't possibly have had time to make a manual over bid with just 3 seconds to spare. Bet he's cursing that other late very high bid

Have lost many a coin to our fellow forum member. I am suprised that there are any 1860/61 pennies and halfpennies left out there at the rate our friend takes them out of circulation :D

Too bad about the grading, and 831 seems a bit high though 750 perhaps not?

 It's not that much better than VF! Perhaps between VF and EF at most. I'd rate it a £250 - £300 coin.

Reverse looks pretty much EF, but you aren't buying the reverse on a 26ME. I will be charitable and say that the photograph may not do the obverse justice, although the ear doesn't seem to show that much wear. AU though? Hmmm...

Here's a good one....

Talk about excessive shipping rates...

ebay item # 330509932583

At least it's "signed for" for your protection.....

penny's for sale ......

Post cost as follows ( Please read carefully )

UK £1.50 + 50p per extra penny

Europe £150.00 +£75.00 per extra penny

Rest of world £600 + £300 per extra penny

100 new penny's available have fun.

A few points to clarify here. Penny should have an upper case P as it's a proper noun. The cost of shipping Penny around the UK is remarkably cheap. The costs to Europe or the rest of the world is roughly the cost of one bum on one seat in a plane. Presumably Penny is a normal person, though I suspect with a 100 examples of her available it might be construed as people trafficking (or an advert for a brothel)
