One of my customers gave me one for my youngest son when he was born.... I wonder if this seller wants to buy it? I'll cut him a deal at £50000 and leave £20k in it for him......

Thats about the fourth different seller I've seen with this coin over the last year or so... Price is creeping up as well... I was the under-bidder on the first sale at a massive £0.05!

On the original pic (and description) you can see that the area within the white speckles has been bored out almost through the coin... thought it might be an interesting curio - but not at £300... or £3 for that matter!

Don't get me wrong, there is 1 or 2 nice coins on the bay, but the crap seems to be iutweighing the good stuff right now, more scrap Metal than anything

Regarding the other listing. It does annoy me when I see post mint, damaged coins being advertised as errors.

But think how you'd feel if just one of those cardboard boxes full of crap had an EF 1926ME, say. Or an EF 1869/1875H/1863 with die number, and somebody else got them because you couldn't be bothered with just that one box too many !!!

It's tempting to bid 20p for the coin and probably win the auction. Postage will cost him 46p (new rates from Monday). Having received the coin demand that he sends you the tea-towel because it's in the photo and therefore you assumed it was included. Otherwise you'll leave very negative feedback! Point made, and he's well out of pocket! A bit of fun too
