Have you seen the reverse photo!!

I emailed her 4 days ago to say it was a modern repro and only worth a quid or two. Needless to say with it already at £410 the silence was deafening.

It's been withdrawn. Probably reappear in a few weeks time with an 'ambiguous' description .

100 pure silver? 22 quid postage? He's gonna do well there, especially when we don't even know the denomination either.Both coins in the picture are 1 and the same, same scratches under the kings bust.

If they were different there would be more reason to be suspicious about the pure silver claim, but as we are talking copies they could have been made yesterday and so the description must be taken at face value.

The lettering means that it's a 1935 crown, so if it's sterling silver - it's a bargain!

It was. 2 identical obverses means either they can't be genuine, or a copy and paste. If not genuine, then as copies they could easily be 925 silver - god, it's no good when you have to explain. I thought you would have seen through it, or maybe I should have used a different emoticon.
