LIS & Lions say no! ;)

It would be a major variety find too, if it WAS an overdate, as the 8/7 coins are only known with an inverted 8, and C*C*'s is correctly orientated! :)

I do wonder where he imagined a 7 in the first place?

Presumably was able to outwit the guards and escape from the local asylum?

There are some damned clever coins around. A few months ago we had one taking a dog for a walk.

Ah, the good old "found while out walking" ploy! Conjoined with a "don't no anything about it" - that always gets the enthusiastic semi-informed bargain hunter's pulse racing, as I'm sure the seller knows perfectly well.. :D
