Isn't that the cross of a crown at the C In Charlie? That should limit the bust type straight away if it is!

I concur. I think there is probably a greater chance of a slab being identified as such than a coin being given the correct id.

It could be said that the seller is merely hoping that a newb buyer will pop along with 500 big ones and buy the coin, i assume he obviously knows what it exactly is as he identifies most coins correctly. I did ask about his Halfcrown and got this back regarding it being overgraded from where it was actually bought...........

Quite likely, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt - because of the error in the Spink book which suggests that type A4 is ­­­­↑↑.

I dis reply to this message from buckscoins saying that i was'nt interested in disclosure because i knew where the coin came from and the purchase price, and that i was more interested in the extra Grade that it had aquired and if he could shed any light on it lol

I'm not sure what the issue is here. Has he changed the listing since he originally put it up on e-bay? I would probably have given it a straight VF but other than that, I'm struggling.

He's changed the listing Derek, he was trying to sell as the rarer A6 type and had it up at £500

I've met Chris a few times at auctions and coin fairs and he seems pretty straightforward. His grading too is usually there or thereabouts, so given that he has changed the listing I am prepared to accept that he was thrown by the Spink's typo.

Looks nice to me but I wouldn't pay anything over £100 on Ebay unless I could be assured.The listing is not the most confident.I have told buyers that they are buying rubbish.Why oh why.?

I stick to coins I know.
