Really?!

"This listing (110658639304) has been removed, or this item is not available"

Oh... thats a bit useless! Perhaps he realised that his "Ultra-rare NI flagged 2002 Commonwealth £2 coin (rarest of the Commonwealth flags!)" in "almost perfect" (or to us, rather bashed!) condition wasnt worth the £49.99 BiN he'd listed it for!

I wonder if it's kind of an ironic name, like calling a tall guy "Tiny" ?

This is silly. It is probably cheaper to buy up all the grotty 1887 sixpences than it is to make the casts and manufacture replicas. Bizarre.

You wouldn't even need to buy up the grotty ones - it (and the shilling) must be the commonest silver coins before 1936!

I've just removed a whole load of posts relating to a certain seller of coins.

I hate censoring things, but can we keep this under our hats for the moment? If it comes out as 100% true and proven, then I will flick the switch and make visible all the posts that I have just rendered invisible!

Behave yourselves!

Yes, it was becoming a bit of a lynch mob.

I don't see it being a lynch mob Sion, as i keep saying, if you had purchased a coin from said ebay seller and paid way over the odds i think attitudes would have changed. So i'll say no more on the forum about it

The forum had been notified and eBay had been notified so there was not much more we could have done.

Had to check out their other items just in case they had the complete set of VIPs. Nice pair of fingerless groves there.

Shame the elbow length fingerless gloves weren't satin finish, might have asked for a demo ;)

So? I've got a Bank of England nine bob note, an Arthur Daley £5 note, Fawlty Towers £10 note, and a Princess of Wales £50 note. True! :D

Cool!

I bought 10 packs of £10 tissue in a pound shop.

Unfortunately these notes were spent various times when I had a cold and ran out of Kleenex...
