Old russian government documents about coins (1796) imp. Elizabeth

Recommended Posts

Guest RussianGuy

Contents are the impression of the stamps to the production of copper, silver and golden coins and their precise description.

The coins should be brought from the 14th of December, 1796 in circulation. A signature does

not exist only " So it should be " what allows to close on it imp. Elisabeth the document has written.

The length and width amounts 22cm x34,2cm. The paper is provided Pale green with watermark.

The watermarks are divided into three parts. There is a watermark about the whole sheet distribute

in the form of vertical lines also there is in the middle a bear with a crown

and on two of three sheets there is the "annual" number 96" as a watermark.

To the form is to be said that the documents are broken on the right side.

so.... my question ist what you think about this? Who might be interested on it and what it can be worth.

Thanks

Be careful about this one chaps, whatever it is!

Russians don't have a splendidly honest reputation in the world today. Especially those that don't register first, or post any pictures and have a hotmail email address (in Germany)!

Please do come back and verify yourself if I have dissed you.

Well, I'm Russian, I am ashamed to admit that some of my compatriots are thiefs, gangsters and murderers (I am not mean that guy, who I even don't know, may be he is not russian at all), however it is not the reason to think that most russians are so.

By the way the name of the czarina in 1796 is Ekaterina or Catherine, not the Elizabeth, so...

There are some nice Russians out there, I've come across a few. But there does seem to be a ridiculously large number of bloody thieves in your vast and contrasting land (not just there though, there are also huge criminal populaces in lots of other countries). And, Russia also houses most of the servers where the majority of the worlds spam email and forum post seem to come from too!

Perhaps the above posted translated Ekaterina as Elizabeth :S

Actually since I collect Russian/Siberian/Ukrainian coins I often trade with collectors over there, and have had great experiences everytime, and wonderful surprises like BU Nikolai II coins from the 114-1916 era show up out of nowhere.
