50 pence pieces

Recommended Posts

The other day I came across two 50 pees with 2 differing designs commerating the Victoria Cross.I kept them back for my Grandson currently serving with the 1st Battalion PWRR in Germany and the latest recipient of the VC-Private Johnson Beharry.

To save me walking all of 20 yds to our local library, any one know how many commerative 50p's have been issued?

Thanks also to all who have replied to my ramblings on this forum, especially as I am not a coin collector as such!

Steve
