Jersey £1 coin 1981

I'm thing of selling the example i have, i am led to believe like most Jersey coins it has a low mintage. But does anyone know how many were struck?

Also what's it's catalogue value? (i don't want to over price or underprice it)

CYB2004 says £7.00 for the non proof coin. It doesn't state a mintage. Isn't there a link to a very good Jersey site in the forum somewhere?

i've checked that site out already, it was my first port of call!

I'm a purist i'm afraid, if it ain't on the main land then it ain't British. (that goes for Ireland too).

Well strictly speaking Northern Ireland is not British, it is part of the United Kingdom, but not part of Great Britain. So what about the Isle of Wight, isle of Sheppey and Scilly Isles etc? I think if you're going to call them British you can't exclude the Ch Islands.

i don't, i call Britain; England, Scotland and Wales... the rest are islands of the UK, that includes Lundy.

Because the "Scilly isles" has connatations of stupidness, like the "Silly Isles". I guess the other doesn't.....as much!
