what type of 1874 penny

Looks like a VERY EARLY strike.....About 10 years early...... LOL.....1864 not 1874......

Seriously though, from the image,, it looks like an F-48, crosslet 4

Ive tried to edit it earlier, after I discovered the title from my post,I cant change it, hope others can change it to 1864 thank you in advance.

Definitely a crosslet (aka T-tail). Marginally the scarcer of the two 1864s, both of which are pretty uncommon.

Red is right. The crosslet 4 is a freeman R10 in rarity (3,501 to 7,000 known), and the other 4 is an R9 (7,001 to 12,000 known) in rarity.

Yes its common thanks RLC,guess will hunt for high grade then,If I can afford or if I found one its to expensive even if its penny few grade up the price is very high.
