Here's a 60X magnification.

I not to long ago bought the above Sovereign and as far as I can ascertain it's unlisted. I put it in the next DNW to be auctioned.

Its the first time that I have ever sent coins of for auction and it will be interesting to see how they do.

Has anyone else ever sold any coins through an auction house and if so how did it go?

Moved this to the unlisted variety bit, so that I'll remember to add it in CCGB2009.

I was lucky with your coin in the DNW auction. It has been picked up by Baldwin's to be

sent to me here in the states. Their observation: "is not a V over A but is some

kind of spectacular die flaw where the left half resembles an "a." "A very nice addition

to your collection."

Please keep me in mind if you find any other sovs. that are out of the normal.

Also, I collect the die numbers of sovs. If your looking at them on occasion may I

send you my want list?

Thanks,

Ken

Congratulations on the win Ken. It’s an interesting coin. Feel free to email me a wants list of any sovereign types or die numbers you are after and I’ll keep an eye out for you when I am in some of the coin shops over here in Edinburgh or at the local fairs. My email is sulo@coinsgb.com

Regards,

Hus
