George IIII Crown 1821 help!

Hi just a general topic i need help about.

I have recentley put a george IIII crown on ebay.

I dont no how much it is worth, but no ones bidding on it, when others on there are very expensive.

How can i tell what it is made of e.t.c

It's because its very worn and only worth scrap value (around £7). They are very common in that condition, in fact the 1821 Secundo is the most common GeoIV crown.

Truly brilliant ones will of course sell for more. Condition is the main factor for 'modern' British coins, always.

FWIW a better photo will help you sell the piece, also might want to rotate the image.

Your crown is reasonable as it seems free of large rim dings and bumps.

However,even a bad photograh cannot conceal it is very worn and a filler piece for a collector at best (and as Chris said it is a common crown)

I reckon you will get about £12...& NO I won't be bidding. :D
