Hi,

Does anyone have any information on this rare coin? I understand that only 2 exist and one of these is in the royal collection. What i do know is that it was in a NGC type capsule and sold about 10-15 years ago and went to a North American collector.

Be most grateful if anyone has any new information.

Terry

So does anyone know where this coin is now, and whether it has come up for sale in the last few years?

Norweb collection had this bit on sale some 20 years ago; the catalogues are invaluable. I can not imagine the price it would fetch nowadays!

Thanks, Rob! I suspect it might bring a bit more than that should it ever come up for auction again..
