so i have the 2008 old design 20p now, how many of these old style one

got one today (has tiny little cuds on the queen) but this is the first time i have seen one, are these old style 20p's worth holding on to?

Probably not. I have found 2008 old designs for all the coins except the 10p.

Does that include the old style 50p - this is the only on I am missing apart from, as you say, the 10p?

My mistake, I haven't seen an old design 2008 50p. I've only just found the new design.

I have not found the old design 2 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, and 1 pound.

Nor have I found the £2 2008 coin with the 1908 Olympic Games reverse.

According to the Royal Mint site, there are:

700,000 Britannia 50 pence minted for 2008.

910,000 £2 1908 Olympic Games reverse...what is interesting is they list 3,910,000 Royal Arms £1.

perhaps banks have em in the vaults.

i have seen a few technology £2 coins, kept 2 back that have errors.

I'm surprised to see some figures up there so soon. I also notice that the 2007 figures have changed since they were first published, so I expect these figures might change too.
