silver Britannias wanted

Recommended Posts

Hello

I hope I'm not breaching protocol with this, my first post, but I couldn't see a forum section devoted to 'wanted' ads and thought this the most appropriate place.

I'm looking for silver Britannias (the RM bullion coin) and associated proofs & proofs sets, dates 1997-2007. Willing to consider any reasonable offer (note: I don't consider ebay premiums reasonable!).

Will pay any way you like.

Thank you!

No, you're welcome to put wanted ads in here too!

I'm afraid I don't have any. Do you want any other ounce coins or just Britannias?

Most keen on Britannias... but will consider any bullion .999 Ag coins (yes, I know the Brits are .958) offered at reasonable prices. Perth mint stuff, American silver eagles, maples, etc etc.

I've got a Sunshine Mining 1985 .999 ounce featuring an eagle. As struck but has a couple of toning spots. And 2x M. Theresa Talers, which I know are only .800 (or is it 835) and just contain 23.4g silver each. All three for AG bullion plus 10%.

Those are the best prices offered to me in a while... thanks :)

I'll have to pass on the thalers though as they really don't fit in with my stack. Are you willing to sell the bar on its own? (wish you had more of them!)

Silver nosedived friday and I make current spot at £8.04 with the last London fix at £8.095. I'd be grateful if you would message me your offer inc. postage and let me know your preferred payment method etc.

I've been busy browsing your informative forum... I love the threads in which you experts identify people's mystery finds. I wonder what the star finds of your forum have been and if the older threads are available for me to peruse somewhere?? Would provide hours of entertainment...

It's actually not a bar, but an ounce coin. No difference really I suppose.

With postage it comes to near enough £10.00. Can you send a tenner cash to London? With a note to say it's for the Sunshine Silver ounce, and your address of course....

Mr C H Perkins

London, SE20 7ZJ

Not as quick as paypal etc, but it's fee free that way.

By default the forum doesn't display posts/topics over 30 days old, but they are still there. I think there's a drop down at the bottom of the different areas where you can choose to 'Show All' or words to that effect.

OK Chris, will do that, thanks. Don't know why I assumed it was a bar.

Nice site & selection, Andrew, will have a think about those sets. So strange that the 1997 set is always cheaper (on ebay, anyway) than the £2 by itself...

We have now sold a couple of them so don't hang about to long..

Chris - I put the money in the post today. Sorry for the delay, rather a hectic week.

Andrew, I'll have to pass on the proofs for the time being... I'm still picking up sets on the cheap by scouring mail order lists. I will definitely bear your site in mind for future shopping sprees!
