A Guide to Tokens

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I recently picked up a few 18thC tokens in a job lot of coins that I bought and I am interested in identifying and understanding them. Can anybody recommend a good source book for this? I don't really expect to find a price guide, but some indications of rarity and variants etc. would be helpful. I've looked through several of the usual web sites and can't really find anything suitable.

Thanks.

That's brilliant. Thanks very much for this. I'm just not sure which to go for, but still they do have a really good selection to choose from.
