After some 20 years I have resumed by collecting. I have a number of what i think were called Bri Lining Albums. Excellent with pre printed slide in year by year cards.

Does anybody know if these are still avavilable and if so where I can buy them?

I'd be very gratefull if someone can advise.

Thanks a lot.

Hmm now I don't wish to alarm you but these could be dangerous. I know that during the 70s and possibly the 80s, they issued PVC albums which turned some coins green and got an irremovable slime on them. You can buy safe albums now, there may even be some on this site. A middle-of-the-road option is the trays Chris sells here. And the piece de resistance really is a hand crafted cabinet which many of us have.

How long have you had coins in there, if it's for a long time and they're not slimy or green, they should be fine! I don't know if they still make them...

I didn't just post that to keep up with you. I don't really care how many posts people have clocked up.

Is that not spamming too Oli, it is stupid, pointless ,annoying and it's a message ( :o:lol: )

I don't see why one would care so much about their post count, obviously MJMD does...

Master JMD, I don't think PMs message was spamming, he was telling David that he didn't think they make them...

Guest BIGH

Hi I also have a these Bri-lining Coin Albums. I have 3 dating from 1937 onwards with individual year cards. So far no damage to coins but would like to now store them in safer albums. I have not been able to find any albums with year cards . could anyone help regarding year cards and storeage methods. Many Thanks.

As far as I know there are no albums with pages made specifically for dated British coins (apart from the older albums).
