Bronze 1998 2p Coin

Recommended Posts

I was telling someone about how the pre-1992 2p coin was made of bronze and non-magnetic when I discovered that two 1998 2p's in the box were also non-magnetic. I've found online that for a couple of months in 1998 the Mint reverted back from copper-plated steel to bronze in the manfacture of the coin.

I probably know the answer to this already, but are the non-magnetic 1998 2p's worth anything?

Apart from 2p of course. :P
