2004 20p second O of 2004 filled in any value?

Recommended Posts

Just found this one in my change

Is a 2004 20p with the second 0 of 2004 almost totally filled in with the same metal as the coin. Has this particular flaw been recorded here before?

Interested to know if it might be of some value to a collector of decimal coinage..

Interesting, but I have my doubts that it will be worth very much more than face value, except as a curiosity.

It's not an error as such ~ simply an accident with the metal. For reference I have a 2006 2p with a bubble on it.

Nothing to get excited about. Value is still 20p.
