Double Struck 10p Piece?

Recommended Posts

I strongly suspect it is but thought I'd get the second opinion from y'all.

Just found this coin beside me when I was sat in my armchair. There's a stroke of luck for you.

Can I finally afford that Jag I've always wanted? =p

Interestingly none of the lettering looks double-struck but the spots around the edge do.

Interestingly I've found a couple more... another 1992 and two from 2001.

Perhaps there's something more here than what meets the eye...

I'll get piccies of them tomorrow.

Doesn't look double struck to me. If double struck both strikes would give a bust the same size therefore it would only be visible to one side. This is visible all the way round so presumably just a weak striking?
