Australian six pence George VI

Recommended Posts

Here is an Autrailian sixpence from 1942 George VI.

The coin on front has a profile of George VI and lettering ends with

D: IND:IMP

on rear

a kangaroo & emu holding a shield with a scroll underneath with the words ADVANCE AUSTRAILIA

underneath is the date 1942.

I would like to know if possible the following:

What grading what be put on this coin?

Is there any value to the coin other than face value?

cheers :)

Obverse is GF (very few hair lines), reverse possibly VF. Sorry, I have no idea about rarity or anything like that. It's probably got a 50% silver content though.
