hi there,

i have got a one shilling coin dated 1963.

is this coin worth any money?

and if it is can you tell me whre can i sell it?

It's worth 5p if you can find a bank to take it in. If in mint condition it may be worth up to £1 or so.

I think people are dissapointed because they always think that every coin is worth a large amount. :(

I am the buyer at a local coin shop and people get mad at me when I tell them what their coins are worth. The mindset is if it is 100+ years old it must be worth a huge amount of money.
